No. Filos Mobile Blood collection does not work with or accept any type of FSA, HSA, or Insurance (including Medicare). However, we do provide reimbursement forms for insurance claim purposes on request. We accept all major credit cards.
We do not charge a cancellation fee unless you fail to appear or do not provide a sample at your appointment time. We do allow our patients a 15-minute window in case you are not at your scheduled location at the appointment time.
We take credit card/debit card payments over the phone when scheduling your appointment. This helps ensure that you stay committed to your appointment time.
We currently cover all of the Dallas/Ft Worth and surrounding areas. We are willing to go further outside of the surrounding areas if needed but some restrictions do apply. See our Service Areas for more information.
Yes! We can provide a specialized pediatric phlebotomist to come draw blood for your child at your home.
Yes, we will draw blood and perform other duties with the utmost sensitivity to any patient’s well-being. We are experts in patients with special needs, including autism, vasovagal syncope, needle phobia, difficult veins, and anxiety.
Yes! We can come anywhere in our service area that you are comfortable. We do strongly recommend that you identify a place within the location where you can have some privacy during the collection.
No! We’ll handle everything from collecting, preparing, and shipping the sample where it needs to go. Your prescribing physician will contact you when results are available.
Test results are sent directly to the physician who ordered the test — we will not receive a copy of your lab results. Contact your prescribing physician to get a copy of your test results. If they’re not responsive or if there is another issue, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you resolve the problem.
We are continuing to provide services that makes people feel comfortable getting blood work done. We understand that you might be cautious about leaving your home, and our techs have appropriate PPE, including facemasks, gloves, and lab coats. We’re monitoring and tracking our own temperatures and symptoms, especially for patients who are immuno-compromised and can’t put themselves at risk at a traditional lab — we are here for you during this time.
